Delivery Conditions & Method

As a marketplace, My Eco Best Friend is a "middleman" connecting buyers with sellers, it does not manage delivery of your goods, this is done by the seller.

When you order a product or service via our platform, your order goes to the seller who will directly manage the delivery with you.

If you have any questions relating to your order, please contact the seller directly. Contact details and the specific delivery conditions can either be found on the seller store page or in your order details, both available on the My Eco Best Friend platform.

Delivery Method, Packaging & Returns

Sellers offer different delivery options, from a ‘click & collect’ service, to delivery direct to your address. To decide which is right for you, please check the available options either on the seller’s website or during the order placement process on the eco-shop.

For home delivery, the seller will choose the best delivery service and correct packaging for your order. Sellers may accept returns; please check their terms and conditions on their store page.

As My Eco Best Friend is promoting sustainability, we recommend avoiding returns and using sellers who propose eco-friendly packaging. Prioritise order point collection rather than home delivery for your order where possible. Rate your order and seller based on delivery, packaging used, their return policy and customer service. The more eco-friendly you believe a seller to be, the more stars they earn for their products and services.

Payment Methods and Conditions

Stripe payment gateway is widely used in e-commerce by millions of businesses the world over (https://stripe.com/en-ch/customers). On My Eco Best Friend, you can make secure payments using either credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) or e-wallets such as Apple Pay.

Based on the seller payment conditions and the type of product/service you purchase, your payment will either be processed when you place your order, or put on hold until the product or service has been delivered. Clear payment conditions will be highlighted on the product/service description together with the delivery conditions.

Swiss payment methods such as PostFinance or TWINT cannot be used due to their inability to manage commission payments to the platform. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Quote Request

Request a Quote for Products and Services

For certain products and services a quote will need to be obtained from the seller before your order can be placed.

My Eco Best Friend will liaise between you and the seller to get you the best possible price. Once a price is agreed your order will be confirmed and payment processed through the My Eco Best Friend website.

Customer Services

All sellers on our platform are committed to processing and shipping your order within a reasonable time frame (usually a couple of days).

Sellers are also committed to answering any of your queries and dealing with any issue relating to your order with a high standard of customer service.

As a My Eco Best Friend user you can also rate the quality of the service you received from the seller. Once your purchase is complete, please do not hesitate to leave a review.
