How to Replace Old Fluorescent Tubes with LED Tubes in a Fixture with an Electronic Ballast
The new linear LED tube bulbs are easy to install and work with most ballasts. All you have to do now is unplug your fluorescent bulb and replace it with an LED bulb. Zetia from Any Lamp ltd. takes us through the complete guide on how to replace a fluorescent tube with Led tubes in a fixture and an electric bulb. Accessories needed in this process are two screwdrivers, a Y striper, and a strip terminal connecter. However, this process is simple, and you do not need a professional to replace it.
Please turn off the electricity before starting for your safety. Remove the fluorescent tubes from the lamb by twisting them. Use the screwdriver to t6ake the cover away. Consequently, identify the right cables to cut. The wire to the left side of the lamb connects to the electric current—however, the wire to the bulb’s right hooks to the sockets fillings in the fixture.
Disconnect the blue cable from the electric current followed by the brown line. Leave the green-yellow thread. It is worth noting that four cables are connected to the fixture, and two cables are connected to the other side. Therefore, cut the two cables.
Strip the cables that you previously cut. Use the strip terminal connected to match the wires you previously cut. Place the cover back and close the fixture. Finally, insert the new LED tubes by locating the neutral and the live side. Switch on the electricity to see the results.
Any lamp recommends using the Philips LED tubes if you do not want to risk rewiring any conventional ballast. When comparing the LED tube bulb over the fluorescence, the Led lighting lasts for 40,000 hours longer in testing. It will save you money as it is more energy-efficient. LED tubes leave less impact on the environment. LED lights are environmentally friendly and easily recyclable because they contain no mercury.
