Tree planting

Tree planting is one of the most important issues that needs to be addressed for the future of humanity. Humans, who must use natural resources very efficiently to leave a better world for future generations, must constantly plant trees and work to create green environments. Every year, the world gives up many trees to produce what it needs, leading to the cutting down of decade-old and even century-old trees to make raw materials, but at the same time, it must plant new trees and create infrastructure to promote the expansion of green environments.

Over the past ten years, we have seen a decrease in tree cutting thanks to digital transformation applications. However, a more important issue than tree planting is to prevent the cutting down of trees planted after they have grown and turned into large oaks. Trees are a source of oxygen for humans, and all humanity must protect them and use all possible means to prevent them from being cut down further.

The benefits of reforestation for nature and humanity are as follows:

  • Trees’ Fight Against Carbon Dioxide As is known, trees absorb carbon dioxide from the air and release oxygen in its place. The main task of trees here is to capture the formation of carbon in the air by releasing oxygen for humans to breathe. Due to their cleaning role, trees must absolutely be a continuous resource for humanity’s future and must be present on the earth’s surface.
  • Trees and Global Warming Trees indirectly contribute to reducing global warming. Due to urbanization, heat in cities has increased significantly over the past 50 years. Tree leaves create moisture in the air by releasing water vapor, creating coolness. Trees, by preventing heat, can also indirectly prevent global warming, cooling the city by up to 12 degrees Celsius.
  • Trees and Energy Savings Large trees grown in areas near residential areas can significantly reduce air conditioning expenses by creating a cooling effect. As carbon emissions decrease, trees around an individual house can also create healthy breathing. Trees, by preventing heat throughout the city, can lead to an energy savings of about 20%.
  • Erosion Risk and Tree Planting Trees located on hillsides and near rivers prevent landslides. Thanks to their strong roots, trees form a network under the ground that prevents any landslides. Trees keep soils together, reducing surface flow. Tree planting is particularly important in humid and rainy regions.
  • Trees and Water Conservation Tree shadows slow down evaporation in areas where water is scarce. Although this may seem like a simple situation at first glance, hundreds of trees along a riverbed have very large effects. Even a newly planted tree needs liters of water per week, but it uses a very small part of this water to naturally return the rest to the soil as a natural source.
  • Digital Transformation Applications and Tree Planting For decades, accounting books were authenticated in accounting services and all documents with financial value were stored and tracked in a paper environment. In this situation, when considered as a large country, they used a lot of paper throughout the country due to laws and regulations. Digital transformation applications reduce paper usage to a minimum each year, making it possible to cut down fewer trees.

Thanks to digital transformation applications, fewer trees are being cut down. They establish an infrastructure to reduce resources allocated to accounting services to the lowest level. Digitally stored invoices, accounting books, and other financial documents are accessible with a single click. Additionally, when there are cases of inspection, auditing, etc. at the Tax Administration, they can access their E-Books anytime through their own system. Digital transformation applications provide great benefits not only to company accounting services but also to finance employees.
