My Eco Best Friend is a non-profit and recognized public-interest organisation in Switzerland advancing sustainability through education, collaboration and practical initiatives.
Created from the belief that ecological transition should be accessible, positive and human, the association helps individuals and organisations turn good intentions into meaningful everyday action.
By organising public events, leading workshops in schools and communities, developing educational tools and supporting local sustainability efforts, My Eco Best Friend makes sustainability more practical, understandable and engaging. Its initiatives are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and relevant Swiss sustainability standards, ensuring both local relevance and global responsibility.

Meet the Founder
My name is Gaëtan Bio. Yes, you read that correctly: Bio. A name that often makes people smile, but one that reflects a conviction that has guided me for many years: we all have a role to play in building a more sustainable future.
For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to make environmental sustainability more accessible and practical for everyone. Through my studies and professional career, including experiences abroad and involvement in environmental awareness initiatives and ISO 14001-related audits, I deepened my understanding of the challenges we face and the importance of turning awareness into action.
Over time, I realised that meaningful change requires the involvement of everyone: businesses, local authorities, schools, families and citizens. But above all, I came to understand that children are one of the most powerful drivers of change. Their curiosity, creativity and honesty have a unique ability to inspire those around them and help shape the world of tomorrow.
This realisation became even more personal when my son Luca was born. Wanting to create a positive and inspiring legacy for his generation led me to launch My Eco Best Friend, the public-facing brand of the non-profit association Mon Eco Pote. Today, our mission is to make sustainability engaging, accessible and action-oriented through workshops, educational projects and community initiatives.
My Eco Best Friend is also a social project. Our volunteers come from diverse backgrounds, including students, job seekers, retirees, people with disabilities and individuals from migrant communities. Together, we form a supportive community united by a shared desire to create positive local impact.

Join an association committed to both people and the planet. We take concrete action to promote more ethical consumption, support local artisans and raise awareness of sustainability through education.
Whether you are based in Lausanne, Fribourg, elsewhere in Switzerland or abroad, you can contribute remotely. With around six hours per week, you can already make a meaningful difference.
We value cooperation over competition. You will be part of a team of committed and enthusiastic people working in a climate of trust, respect and mutual support.
You will develop practical skills through a concrete and useful project, while discovering how a digital and non-profit initiative with strong social impact operates behind the scenes.
