THE FOUNDER

A brief introduction to Gaetan Bio, whose name lends itself to his passion for Ecology and Environmental protection. In 2011, Gaëtan graduated with a Master’s degree in Translation. His dissertation focused on the translation of Roberto Rizzo’s Italian book “The Smart House” and an essay entitled “Ecology for Everyone”. His professional career took him to Ireland, where he worked for a consulting firm as an eco-responsible person, responsible for raising environmental awareness within the company and conducting internal environmental audits (ISO14001). Gaëtan then moved to Switzerland, where he worked briefly as a volunteer for a company promoting sustainable development. He also became involved in corporate social responsibility, focusing on Environmental Management within companies. Apart from his environmental activities, Gaëtan is first and foremost an IT project manager with almost 10 years’ experience. His educational background, experience with environmental protection and IT sectors provided Gaëtan with the skills he needed to create the My Eco Best Friend platform.
