Our Objectives

My Eco Best Friend aims to make sustainable choices easier to access, easier to trust and more engaging in everyday life.  
By helping users discover environmentally responsible products and services in their region, the project supports both local businesses and environmental protection. It also encourages more informed decisions through a reliable eco-evaluation approach, giving users the opportunity to better understand and even assess the environmental value of products themselves.  
Beyond information, My Eco Best Friend makes sustainability more interactive through eco-games, eco-learning, and performance tracking and rewards, creating motivating ways to learn, participate and take action. As part of this commitment, the project also contributes to charities working actively for environmental protection. 

My Eco Best Friend is officially recognised as a public-benefit organisation by the Swiss Confederation. This recognition reflects the seriousness of our commitment and the value of our work, while also allowing donors to benefit from tax-deductible donations.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

My Eco Best Friend is committed to supporting several Sustainable Development Goals as part of the 2030 Agenda. We actively work to reduce our environmental impact and promote more sustainable practices. We also support SMEs and municipalities in developing sustainability strategies within their organisations, helping them move towards more responsible and lasting ways of operating.

ISO 14001

My Eco Best Friend has implemented an Environmental Management System within its organisation and aims to work towards ISO 14001 certification. We also support SMEs and municipalities in setting up their own Environmental Management Systems to help them move towards this internationally recognised certification.
